Privacy Policy

Your account. Your name and email address, held by our authentication provider. If you sign in with Google, Google shares your name, email address and profile picture with us; we never receive your Google password. A copy of your account identity is also stored in our own database so that your trades and settings can be linked to you.

What you enter. Positions you record in My Trades, and the filter settings you choose on the screeners. This is your own data and it is only ever shown back to you.

Support messages. When you use the contact form we send your message together with your name, email address, account identifier, the page or ticker you were looking at, the time, and your browser's user-agent string. That context is what lets a reply be useful rather than a request for more detail.

Server logs. Our host records ordinary web-server information, including IP addresses, for a limited period. We do not use it to build any profile of you.

Stored on your device, not sent to us. Your navy/beige theme choice, your Getting Started progress and your course progress are kept in your browser's local storage. They never reach our servers, which is also why they do not follow you to another device.

There is no analytics or tracking of any kind. No Google Analytics, no advertising pixels, no session recording, no third-party trackers. Nothing on this site is watching how you move around it.

We do not sell, rent or share your personal information with anyone for their own purposes. The companies listed below process data only to provide their service to us.

We have no access to your brokerage account. SpreadVector never connects to a broker. It cannot see your positions, your balances or your trades, and it cannot place an order.

Our market-data providers learn nothing about you. When a scan runs we ask them about a stock, never about a person. No name, email, account identifier or IP address of yours is sent to any data vendor.

Each of these companies handles some part of running the service. They are bound to use it only to provide that service.

Some of these companies are based in the United States and your information may be processed there.

We use only the cookies required to keep you signed in, set by our authentication provider. There are no advertising or analytics cookies, so there is nothing here to opt out of. Blocking the sign-in cookies will prevent you from staying signed in.

Your account and the trades you record are kept while your account exists. Support messages are kept in our support mailbox so we have a record of what was asked and answered. Server logs and caches are short-lived by design. If you close your account, tell us and we will delete your account record and your trades.

You can see and change your name and email address from Account → Profile. You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to support@spreadvector.com and we will act on it. Depending on where you live you may have further rights under local law; we will honour those too.

SpreadVector is not intended for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has created an account, tell us and we will remove it.

This page describes where data actually goes, so it changes when that changes — if we add a service that handles your information, it will be named here. The date at the top always reflects the most recent change.
